how many moles of aspirin, C9H8O4, contain 0.480 mole of O atoms?

pooja195 (pooja195):

ratio and proportion 1 mole aspirin is to 4 moles O as x is to 0.480 mol O x = 0.120 mol of aspirin. Into a calculator would be 0.480 divided by 4 Edit: CM got it backwards: "0.48moles aspirin would contain 4x moles of O, 1.92 moles" It's not 0.48 moles of aspirin, it's 0.48 moles of oxygen
