is this an equilibrium??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First I need to know how to calculate the ratio of products to reactants.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also I have a data table and it was part of a project and I need to know if it is an equilibruim. the date is like this 40 0 20 20 18 12 15 27 16 25 17 24 18 24 18 24 etc...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this an equilibrium?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

if the concentrations aren't further changing then that means that the rate forward = rate backward which is indicative of the system being at equilibrium.

OpenStudy (jfraser):

Was this done with swapping water back and forth between two beakers? @aaronq is correct. What is chemical equilibrium defined as?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this was done by swapping candies, 1/2 to the right side, then 1/4 of the right side back to the left side. very confusing.
