N2 + 3H2 --> 2NH3 How many grams of ammonia (NH3) can be made from reacting 10 grams of nitrogen gas (N2) with excess hydrogen gas? I got 14.166 grams, is this correct?

you always need to look for your limiting reagent and excess reagent in this case dont bother because the question helped you no to worry about that by giving you the mass of nitrogen gas lets start moles of nitrogen gas=10grams/28 from the equation 1N2 = 2NH3 (10/28)moles of N2=X moles of NH3 after getting moles of NH3 ,we still use mole=mass /molar mass mass=moles of NH3 above/17
