Given u=[1,2,3] and v=[2,-2,-6] use the DOT PRODUCT to find a unit vector perpendicular to both.
let \[\vec{x}=[a,b,c]\] so, \[\vec{x}\cdot\vec{u}=0\\ \vec{x}\cdot\vec{v}=0 \] will give you two equations. the third equation is from the fact that it is a unit vector. use the three equations and find a,b,c
so how do I get [a,b,c]? Sorry I wasn't here when my class was learning this so I'm absolutely clueless :(
