Anyone know how to create a histogram on Excel??
This is the data I want on the histogram. ^^^
Just select all the data and then go to Insert part...in this part you can choose what kind of graph you want to plot...
Yeah I know but I dont see anything that says "Histogram"
So my 2 columns would be the show column (1-10) and my residuals column?
looks that way .. let me give it a shot
oy vey ... had to run thru hoops just to get the data analysis to show on the tool bar
do you have a data analysis tab in your data tab?
my notifs do not refresh on the main library computers
i think my teacher gave me some steps on adding it. lemme see....
Here the steps I have in my notes but it's not working for me... Click File Options Add Analysis Pack (Through Addins I'm guessing)
Never mind I figured it out
This is what I get ^
file info options add-ins all the way at the bottom: manage "excel addins", GO click analysis toolpak (top option on mine), and ok
yeah, i got it lol i posted my result above
that doesnt quite look like a histogram. the first link i read thru the comments and people were complaining
what is a bin range?
bin numbers are the intervals you want excel to use ....
I dont know... but this question asks us to create a histogram using the residuals and then next one asks us if there is a problem with the histogram.... so the answer is probably yes since a histogram doesnt usually end up looking like that.
#3 Part C and D
No?
c looks fine, d i think is referring to the shape of the histogram. Not really if excel displayed it in a usual fashion
yeah thats what i mean...
