How to find the height of this triangle.
I will show you the problem in this next post. . .
How do I figure out the height of just the TRIANGLE ITSELF? I have to find the volume, and I know how to do that, just not the height. |dw:1363916697955:dw|

I'm not typing a reply, it just says I am.
what is that 4.1 ?

I know how to do volume, just not the height of this triangle. This shows the height of the whole prism, just not the triangle itself.
Yes, it is 4.1.
5/2=2.5 h= \[\sqrt{2.5 ^{2}+11 ^{2}}\]
Someone PLEASE help! I have a math test tomorrow, and if I don't get this I am completely screwed!

h= \[\sqrt{11 ^{2}-2.5 ^{2}}\]
Use the law of cosines to get the measure of angle B. Then h = 5*sin(B)
you can only use cosine if you were the have an angle but you dont
Can anyone put this into stupid person terms?
First, can you explain what the 4.1 cm length represents?
