Can anyone help me with predicting products of chemical equations?
In general?
Sort of....I have the reactants just not the products. What I don't understand is how you get the product of double and single replacement reactions.
1. chromium (III) chloride + sulfuric acid yields ???
2. iron (III) + oxygen yields???
3. magnesium chloride yields???
4. carbon tetrahydride + oxygen yields???
5. lithium + magnesium chloride yields???
6. magnesium + lithium chloride This one is, no reaction. But I don't get why.
7. zinc nitrate + ammonium bromide yields???
8. calcium oxide + hydrochloric acid yields????
9. barium bromide + sodium phosphate yields???
10. bromine + sodium iodide yields??
11. potassium + water yields....
12. water yields..... I got: 2H2O yields 2H2 + O2
13. potassium + water yields.....
14. bromine + sodium chloride I got Br2 + 2NaCl yields... 2NaBr + Cl2
woah! one question at a time okay @SavannahMiller27 ... alright the first one first... here you have ur reactants. now u just got to interchange the anion portions of the 2 reactants.. like.. CrCl3+H2So4->Cr(So4)3+ HCl.... now this is not your answer.. to get the answer u need to balance the equation... ne other problems tag me okay??
