Now, to help you with the problem, are you able to graph a quadratic like that? Do you know how to complete the square, finding the roots, etc.. @CassandraF23

Something that you should know is that a quadratic given in standard form like that, always has a y-intercept at a point (0, y) where y is the constant. For example, the function given to you which is f(x) = x^2 + 4x - 5, will have a y-intercept at (0, -5) because the constant is - 5. Secondly, you can further make it easier for yourself to graph by completing the square. This will give you the vertex of the graph, that is to say, it's highest/lowest point. And lastly, being able to factor is crucial. If you can factor the equation, then that way will know at which values of x will the function equal to zero and that gives you the x-intercepts. With all this information, you can easily graph any quadratic similar to this. Try giving it a shot and tell me how it goes. I'll help ya out if you have any problems along the way. @CassandraF23
