Chem help.. I know this is math, and sorry bout that but i need help!! I know the answer, but I don't know how to get to it.. Q: A 0.90 g sample of toluene, C7H8, was completely burned in a bomb calorimeter containing 4560 g of water which increased in temp from 23.8 C to 25.718 C. What is delta H for the reaction in KJ/mol C7H8? Heat capacity of calorimeter was 780 J/C and specific heat of water is 4.184 J/gC
So none of the 42 people in chemistry that are online could answer it?
No, I have tried and tried and tried in other sections but the only the math section is successfully active.
This is from my previous experience
Ah. Well, I took geology, not chem. Sorry. If it was balancing a chemistry equation I could do it with Linear Algebra, which chem people say is nuts but it works.
Wow, that's pretty cool. I didn't know that.
Well, if you think it is cool, here: http://ndu2009algebra.blogspot.com/2011/04/chemistry-matrices.html http://www.saintjoe.edu/~karend/m244/ChemicalEquations.pdf
LOl! thanks i do think it's cool but i dont want to learn it atm but thanks for hte link... might come in handy sometime
Yah, which is what links are good for. Bookmark, or just DL the PDF and save it for a bored day. Well, I am off. Sitting here after work for hours. LOL
