How many moles of HNO3 will be produced when .65 grams of N2O5 reacts? N2O5 + H2O -> 2HNO3

OpenStudy (abb0t):

First thing is to check if your stoichiometric equation is balanced. Next, set up a plan (that usually helps me see the plan or route i'm taking) and write down the information given. GIVEN: 0.65 grams \(N_2O_5 \) WANT: moles of \(HNO_3 \) So, the set up is: 0.65 grams of \(N_2O_5 \rightarrow \) moles of \(N_2O_5 \rightarrow \) moles of \(HNO_3 \) If you remember from your algebra course, it's very similar to fractions in the sense tha tyou're just canceling out units to get the desired units.
