Why are elements with a higher EN the least reaction and elements with a lower EN the most reactive

Hmm...well, more electronegative = more reactive from what I can recall. It has to do with the tendency of an atom and acquire electrons from other atoms..

Elements, such as fluorine, which have high electronegativity values will be very reactive. Similarly, those with low ionization energ (electropositive) with also be reactive
