Help! pic below I GIVE MEDALS Given Circle E with diameter AC and M angleDAC=62deg m angle ABC=28deg. and m angleDBC=60deg. Find:m angleBAC, m arc AD
@Eyad think u could help me out??
@heather040200 : I wish ,but i'am about to leave :(
that's ok tomorrow then?? just tag me I should be on all day
are u sure ABC = 28 deg? lol
no
m angle ABC=28deg. is incorrect. In the original posted problem, please post the problem exactly as it appears in your text or problem source.
Using only the diagram, it is possible to find the these: m angleBAC, m arc AD. At least four theorems are in play: 1) An angle inscribed in a semicircle is a right angle. 2) The measure of an inscribed angle of a circle is one-half its intercepted arc. 3) The acute angles of a right triangle are complementary. 4) If a quadrilateral is inscribed within a circle, opposite angles are supplementary.
@shubhamsrg can ya help me out here :)
you should follow @directrix
@HawkCrimson could u help me plzzz last question promis :)
u sure that it says ABC=28deg?
no
lol then which info r u sure about?
like which of the info u said it straight from the actual question?
I found angle ABD and DBC but idk if them are right ...
i think angle BAC = 45 degrees
@heather040200
sorry about that ok
ill show u y i think but because this is only the second time ive ever used this rule and 45 deg is too gud of an answer im not sure if im right

@heather040200 lol u left again
ok so to my reasoning the angle at BC is 90 deg cause angle BEC is also 90 deg. u agree? @heather040200
I got it to work finally lol @HawkCrimson
lol well u agree wat wat i just said?
ya
and since that angle is 2x then x would be half of it meaning that angle BAC = 45 deg. u cool with that?
yes
u even understand y the arc BC is twice the size of BAC?
no
|dw:1365609778494:dw| u remember this rule?
yes
i used that rule, do u see it now used in ur question?
yes
ok then u understand now?
yes
ok and now the final part m arc AD
alright
we'll be using that
ok
angle ADC = 90 deg cause it extends from the segment AC
as i say stuff ill be waiting for u to say ok cause this is a bit complicated so keep saying ok or if u dont understand.
alright i understand
and AC is the diameter
ok
want to try and see if u can figure out wat to do next?
http://assets.openstudy.com/updates/attachments/516389a8e4b057e06e87ee10-directrix-1365484137490-circlee.jpg dont forget to look back at this diagram
|dw:1365612032878:dw| therefore angle DCA = 28 deg
and using the rule that i used to solve for angle BAC |dw:1365612189015:dw| and the ansswer for the m arc AD is 56 :)
