PLEASE GUYS SOMEONE HELP ? Choose the relation with a range of {−4, 0, 1}. R = {(−4, −2), (0, 0), (1, 3), (−4, −2), (1, 3)} R = {(3, 1), (0, 0), (−2, −4), (3, 1), (−2, −4)} R = {(3, 2), (1, 8), (1, 2), (0, −5), (−4, 4), (−2, 5)} R = {(2, 3), (8, 1), (2, 1), (−5, 0), (4, −4), (5, −2)}
Do you know what the range is in a relation?
@supremesmack ?
NO :( im really bad at math man im really sorry..
To keep them straight, domain and range go in alphabetical order. Domain is first and so is x. Range is second and so is y. Domain is the x values of a set and range is the y values of a set.
Let's explain it to you. Here's a relation:\[\{(1,2),(3,4),(5,6)\}\]The part which comes LATER in all of the stuff enclosed in parentheses is the range. So here, the range is\[\{2,4,6\}\]
But i dont see any of the answers up there with the range it wants you to find..
Can you list the range of all of them?
I think that it is (B) @ParthKohli
Yay!
thanks alot man i thought they had to be in order thats why i didnt see it :)
