Does anyone know how to explain how to do this for me? "Consider the following equillibriated system: 2NO2(g)----2NO(g)+O2(g). If the Kp value is 0.860, find the equillibrium pressure of the O2 gas if the NO2 gas pressure is 0.520 atm and the PvNO is 0.300 atm at equillibrium."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kp=Pproduct/Preactants (P are at equilibrium) the kp recation for you would be Kp=(pNO)^2*(pO2)/(pNO2)^2 (pNO and pNO2 are squared due to the coefficiant being 2 in the equation) and rearrange the equation to solve for O2(g)
