(1/2) (x + e - x)^(-1/2) * d/dx (of what's inside) Whats inside is a constant e (since x - x is 0), and derivative of a constant is 0, so you have 0 / 2e => 0 .. at least I think that is correct.

1/2*(x+e^(1-x))^-1/2 * (1-e^(1-x)), how about this i think this might be correct

ah - e^(1-x) makes a slight difference yes

the only thing you can do is move the (x+e^(1-x))^-1/2 to the bottom and that makes it possitive

the answer is 1-2e^1-x^2 over 2 sqr x=e^1-x^2
