After the move, Gabrielle noticed that one of the sections of the stained glass was chipped. If it is equally likely for the chip to be anywhere on the stained glass, what is the probability that the chip is in section 5?

yes.. lets start from the smallest one. section "5" is 1/4 part of the small square around it.

yes. so since there is 4 triangles in the square would the denominator be multiplied by 4?
