for the 12m^3 it should be 12pim^3
volume of cone is: \[V={1\over3}\pi r^2 h\] we have V=12m^3 r = (6/2)=3m find h = ?
would the answer be 4? for the height???
How? none of the options are right
because how i got it was right it was 4 and i did that by doing 1/3*3^2 and got 3 and the only one that would get me to 12 was 4 because 3*4= 12

you could use pythagoras' theorem to work out the height btw...cause it is a right angled triangle.

you could also substitute values into the formula and solve for h, which is the preferred method
are you still sure the question does not have a "pi" in there?

yeah i had to retype it to make sure that people who were going to help me knew that it was 12pi m^3 not 12m^3
