OpenStudy (azureilai):

What is the pH of a .0060 M KOH solution? (I just need someone to explain to me where to start or refer a website where I can learn about this)

OpenStudy (abb0t):

First, find the pOH, which you can easily do: pOH = -log[OH] once you have your pOH, you can use it to find your pH! pH = 14 - pOH

OpenStudy (mos1635):

KOH is a stronge base there for KOH -> K+ + OH- (100%) so concetratioon of KOH is equal to concetration of OH- pOH = -log[OH] pOH= - log 0.006 pOH=....... then pH=pKw - pOH (if temp 25 oC Kw=10^-14 and pKw=14) ........
