Significant figures is the amount of figures at total, excluding 0 IN FRONT of a number between 1 and 9... some examples could be: 0.00000000001 1 significant figure 0.000000000010 2 significant figures 1.09*10^(-4) 3 significant figures. 123 3 significant figures. 123.0 4 significant figures.
