Liquids with hydrogen bonds tend to have _________ viscosities.

OpenStudy (jfraser):

if the molecules have hydrogen bonds, does that mean they "grab" onto their neighbors well, or poorly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

high velocities

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? what @JFraser and thank you @raane :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@raane do you mean high viscosities or velocities???

OpenStudy (jfraser):

hydrogen bonds are a type of intermolecular force. intermolecular forces are what molecules use to grab onto other molecules around them. You wouldn't be asking about h-bonds if you haven't already learned about structure, polarity, and other IMFs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so whats the answere im confused :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think she meant higher viscosities....thinking it was a mistake....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answere is high viscosities :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.....it should be it..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thankx hun :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw
