Top image shows a line segment from (0,0) to (8,15).
The arrow points to the square you seem to be describing. The square is inclined to the same angle as the line.
2nd image shows the square relative to a 2*2 square unit.
3rd image shows the point at (1,2) sharing a vertex with the square. The square is quite small, with sides of roughly .059 unit each.
