PLEASE HELP ! How many moles are in 22 grams of Argon ? A 22 grams AR *----------------------- = ? B A= ? B= ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@chmvijay Can you help me , Again ? (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given mass = 22gms M. Mass of Ar = 40gm No. of moles = Wt. of given mass/M. Mass

OpenStudy (jfraser):

grab a periodic table, and look up the molar mass of Ar. That will tell you how mcuh ONE mole should weigh, but you have something less than that. Use the molar mass as a conversion tool to convert mass to moles

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

40 gram of argon = 1mole of argon 22 gram of argon= 1mole of argon * 22 gram / 40 gram
