OpenStudy (anonymous):

A mole is 6.02x10^23 particles (atoms or molecules), regardless of how much space they take up. If you add 2 moles of Hydrogen (1.204x10^24 particles) to one mole of Oxygen, you would get 1 mole of water, because there are 2 Hydrogens and 1 Oxygen in every water.
