Gonnna make an example anyway... I got loads of time: @chmvijay is right and to illustrate lets look at two water molecules which I hope you know are polar: |dw:1368204199426:dw| In the drawing above we see water with two hydrogen atoms and a oxygen. Oxygen is highly electronegative and also contain a extra pair of electrons. Because of oxygen being highly electronegative it like to pull so much in the hydrogen atoms as it can and hydrogen therefor become slightly positive we can indicate it the following way: |dw:1368204385335:dw| Now we know from magnetism that + like - and - like + so if we have two molecules of water they are going to place them self like this: |dw:1368204567269:dw|
