An atom is called an ion if there a:is an uneven number of protons and electrons b:are more neutrons then protons c: is an uneven number of neutrons and protons d:is an uneven number of neutrons and electrons e: none of the above
It's a. An ion is an atom that doesn't have a zero charge because they don't have the same protons and electrons
ahhh thank you...
"uneven" makes it sound as if it was odd, as in 1, 3, 5.. which is not the case. as the other person previously said, the number of e and protons is not equal.
okay thank you guys sooo much
@aaronq or @Hunus do you know this answer?? The energy we get in nuclear reactions come from? work we don on the reactor water the sun the mass of the fuel energy we put into the reactor
mass of the fuel
there are 2 types of nuclear reactions, fusion (which is fusing atoms together, like the sun) or fission, which splits nuclei of atoms, like the nuclear reactors we use.
okay thank you!
no prob!
i wish i knew how to give awards
