can you help me with this integral?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits x^{3} e ^{x ^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and dv is't \[ex ^{x ^{2}} dx\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u= x^2 du= 2x itns'?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits x ^{3}e ^{x ^{2}} dx\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now do the u-sub as suggested by minra... what u got?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry.. as suggested by primeralph...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey dpalnc can u help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u= x^2 du = 2x dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe u need to see the problem written this way: \(\large \int x ^{3}e ^{x ^{2}} dx=\int x \cdot x^2 e^{x^2}dx \) so doing the u-substitution u=x^2 \(\large \int x \cdot x^2 e^{x^2}dx = \int u e^u \frac{1}{2} du = \frac{1}{2} \int u e^u du \) now that last integral needs to be solved by integration by parts....
