OpenStudy (e.cociuba):

In these equations, figure out which atoms loses electrons and which atoms gain electrons. Use net ionic equations when possible.

OpenStudy (e.cociuba):

d.) 2Al(s) + 3CuSO4(aq) -----> Al2(SO4)3(aq) + 3Ca(s)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

split CuSO4 into its positive and negative ions wait- CuSO4 or CaSO4? it doesn't really make a difference, but you might want to fix that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and look at your periodic table

@e.cociuba

OpenStudy (e.cociuba):

It's CuSO4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so split it into its positive and negative ions then you can see from your reaction that Al replaces Cu

OpenStudy (e.cociuba):

I'm officially confused.

OpenStudy (e.cociuba):

Nvm... I will ask my professor to go over this w/ me. Thanks for all the help! I appreciate it! :)
