PLEASE PLEASE HELP MEEEE!! A detailed explanation, one paragraph of the colligative property being discussed and why that property changes the way that it does when the amount of solute is increased. A detailed description, at least one paragraph, of a real-world application of the colligative property, including an explanation of how this application of the colligative property is important or useful to those affected. The real-world example must be one that was not mentioned in the lesson.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please help me @Peter14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If u can think of anything I can write about or any little details it would be so helpful.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:O I was just thinking of how I needed to refresh my knowledge of colligative properties earlier today !!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:o good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please help me then lol I have finals on Friday and have to have this done and this is my only day off

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wikipedia says: Colligative properties include: Relative lowering of vapor pressure Elevation of boiling point Depression of freezing point Osmotic pressure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what have you talked about already?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.. so for my "paragraph" What do u think about I write about like roads freezing or something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

colligative properties mostly apply to liquids

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or at least that's where I've heard of them and where they are most measurable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But water would be freezing on the road.. right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok fine.. What do u think I should write?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are talking about road salt? that isn't colligative properties, that's a frigorific mixture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did they discuss finding molar mass by osmotic pressure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and what class is this for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. Chemistry 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't even care to learn it. I just wnt to get this assignment over with.. You know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's not good...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But ive had work for 7 days straight. I have a exam on Friday and need to get this assignment over with, it sounds bad but Its my last one and I really just wanna get it over with so im not stressing over it anymore

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did they talk about automobile antifreeze and coolant?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no but ive heard about it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would probably be the easiest application to write about

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok...Antifreeze?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Freezing point depression. When a solution is formed the molecules of the solute prevent the solution from freezing at its normal freezing point, it must be colder.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I found about antifreeze and colligative prop

OpenStudy (anonymous):

" including an explanation of how this application of the colligative property is important or useful to those affected. The real-world example must be one that was not mentioned in the lesson." that's what the paragraph is mostly on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do u mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh.. so what I found can be my 2nd paragraph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Peter14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you only need one paragraph. what you found can be the start of your paragraph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what can I write for this? "the colligative property being discussed and why that property changes the way that it does when the amount of solute is increased."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you go on to discuss how it is useful or important translation: how it makes things more efficient or cheaper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you say that colligative properties are used in _________ (insert topic here) then you state the colligative property that is used (like of the four I gave you from wikipedia) then you explain how it's useful

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ill let u no what I get!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How or why is it so cheap?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So far, you are wrong. Look at the assignment and read the chapter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

• A detailed explanation, one paragraph or more in your own words, of the colligative property being discussed and why that property changes the way that it does when the amount of solute is increased. • A detailed description, at least one paragraph, of a real-world application of the colligative property, including an explanation of how this application of the colligative property is important or useful to those affected. The real-world example must be one that was not mentioned in the lesson. • An introduction and conclusion that is appropriate for the audience and for the content of the article. • At least three resources (web sites, articles, etc.) that you used to write the article.
