|dw:1368810788656:dw| Here's the drawing. The current is given by \[\frac{ V }{ R }=I\] Hence \[I=\frac{ 45 }{ 15000 }=3mA\] The power is given by\[P =\frac{ V ^{2} }{ R}=\frac{ 45^{2} }{15000 }=0.135W\]
