Well just from the graph...I see something along the lines of

y = -2/3x + 1

$$y = -\frac{ 2 }{ 3 }x + 1$$

$$y = \frac{ 2 }{ 3 }x + 1$$

$$y = -\frac{ 3 }{ 2 }x + 1$$

$$y = \frac{ 3 }{ 2 }x + 1$$

how did u see that.... since its going down it has to be negative right ?

Ahh exactly....so you see the line doesn't start at the origin...it starts at 1 on the y-axis....meaning the function has a +1

the slope is negative because you can see how the line is moving

and if you calculate the slope by going down 2...and over 3...you get the equation I wrote :)
