Can anybody please show me how to do this? Balance the following chemical equation: AgNO3(aq) + NaCl(aq)→ AgCl(s) + NaNO3(aq)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's already balenced

Well then could someone please explain how to do this one? Balance the following chemical equation: Zn(s) + AgNO3(aq) → Ag(s) + Zn(NO3)2(aq)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as you can see there are two ( NO3) in the produc, we must have 2 ( NO3) in the reactants ( Conservation of atom ) --> resulted in 2 Ag atom in the reactants--> we must have 2 Ag atom in the product Zn + 2AgNO3 --> Zn(NO3)2 + 2 Ag

s_lane - the question is do you know how to balance ANY chemical reaction? These are really straightforward ones. Take a look at your notes on how to do this.
