colligative properties are properties of solutions that depend upon the ratio of the number of solute particles to the number of solvent molecules in a solution here u have mentioned just one example when you add the solute to the solvent the boiling point of the solvent increases due to the interaction between the solute and solvent... such type of process u learn mainly in colligative properties chapter
