the time periods are measured for a simple pendulum and the mass on a spring on earth. the measurements are then repeated with exactly the same apparatus on the moon. One of the time periods is now different. which one is it? explain your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[T= 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{ l }{ g }}\] since the sme apparatuus is used again so l remains same but the value of g on moon is six times smaller then that on earth so the expression for time period is now \[T= 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{ 6*l }{ g }}\] and hence now time period is now root6 times then that was on earth
