OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the sum a-1/abc^3+3-b/abc^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please re-write with brackets. this can be interpreted two ways

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(a-1 over abc^3) + (3-b over abc^3) Better?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ a-1 }{ abc ^{3} } + \frac{ 3-b }{ abc^{3} }\]

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

denominators are same, so u can directly add the numerators

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

\(\frac{ a-1 }{ abc ^{3} } + \frac{ 3-b }{ abc^{3} } \) \(\frac{ 1 }{ abc ^{3} }(a-1 + 3-b) \) \(\frac{ 1 }{ abc ^{3} }(a+2-b) \) \(\frac{ 1 }{ abc ^{3} }(a-b+2) \) \(\frac{ a-b+2 }{ abc ^{3} } \)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so a - b + 2 over abc^3 correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok awesome thanks!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

thats right !

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
