What are the intercepts of the line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

attachment plz

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

which line? any line?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

sounds like you're "flat-line"ing yourself @chocolatepie123

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is where the line crosses the x axis and the y axis... to be more specific, the x intercept is where the y coordinate is zero, and the y intercept is where the x coordinate is zero.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

elloooooo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

guess i'll wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;p;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry @Haiqa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its fiine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. x-intercept: –8; y-intercept: 4 B. x-intercept: 8; y-intercept: –4 C. x-intercept: 4; y-intercept: –8 D. x-intercept: –4; y-intercept: –8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x intercept is just the point where x=0 and y intercept when y=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u understand?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

@chocolatepie123 do you know what an intercept is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sort of

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

intercept, as dpaInc said above is pretty much where the line TOUCHES the axis so, where it TOUCHES the "y", is the well, y-intercept where it TOUCHES the "x", well, guess :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats great!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx
