A. 17.1 cm B. 16.4 cm C. 18 cm D. 11.6 cm

The lateral area of a cone is (pi x radius x slant height), so we have 558pi = 31 x pi x slant height. we first divide both sides by pi so that we get 558= 31 x slant height. We now divide both sides by 31 so that we have 558/31= slant height. 558/31= 18 :)
