Need help with my Determining the phosphoric Acid content in Soft Drinks LAB!!! Desperate 3NaOH+H3PO4---> 3H2O=Na3PO4 find moles of H3PO4 concentration of NaOH 0.05M Volume of NaOH at equivalence point 3.7 mL
for which?
H3PO4?
Here are all the datas I have concentration of NaOH 0.05 M NaOH volume added before the largest pH increase 1.7 mL NaOH volume added after the largest pH increase 6.2mL volume of NaOH added at equivalence point 3.7mL Moles of NaOH 0.001385 mol I need to get moles of H3PO4 and concentration of H3PO4
okay do you know what a mole chart is? and where did you get your # of moles from (for NaOH)
hello? look I have to go so by using mole ratios, you know that ther is a 3;1 ratio for NaOH and H3PO4 so the number of moles of H3PO4 is 0.000461666 because there is (according to you) 0.001385 mol of NaOH. regarding the concentration though, you need to know the volume of H3PO4 because concentration=number of moles over volume
