how to calculate molar volume

OpenStudy (zale101):

Well, the only option that I can suggest u is the gas equation. P1V1/T1 P2V2/T2

OpenStudy (zale101):

pV = nRT molar volume n=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm, can you define what exactly is molar volume? I don't understand what it is exactly. ANd which do I use ideal gas or combined gas law. or can I use both?

OpenStudy (zale101):

Molar Volume is the volume occupied by one mole of any gas at standard temperature and pressure.

OpenStudy (zale101):

take a look at this site for more information: http://www.chemteam.info/GasLaw/MolarVolume.html
