OpenStudy (alison123):

Strength of intermolecular forces Which types of IMFs are the strongest(Hydrogen, dipole, etc)? What is strongest to weakest of H-O, H-N, and H-F

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Notice \(\text{H}\) is the same in all of the bonds, and they're all single covalent bond. You just have to compare the electronegativities of \(\text{N,O,F}\)... which is trivial, since they lie in one period.|dw:1370724853964:dw|Clearly \(\text{H}-\text{F}\) is the strongest bond.
