http://0.tqn.com/d/math/1/0/I/F/spherer.gif keep in mind that "r" is for radius, and as the picture shows, is only half of the diameter, or half of AB now, the formula uses \(\large \pi\) which is 3.1416, but you're asked to use 22/4 instead, so use that :)

well, I have $$ \cfrac{4}{3}\times \cfrac{22}{4} \times 12^3 \implies \cfrac{22}{3} \times 1728 \implies \color{green}{12672} $$

ohh right, the 2nd I meant, right, but that'd be using 3.1416 for \(\large \pi \), not the suggested 22/4
