This question is using the heat capacity formula: Heat Energy (j) = mass (g) x specific heat capacity x temperature change (c) The question is 'A 5 gram block of aluminium was heated from 30 celcius to 100 celcius. How much heat energy was needed. (The heat needed to raise 1 gram of aluminium was 0.9j) Hope this explains it alright. Thank you
