what is the answer??
7.55 km/h @ 25.2 degrees
ok so here are the steps first resolve the forces into components horizontal component of v2=5cos(40)=3.8 horizontal component of v1=v1 (as v1 is horizontal (angle=0)) total horizontal resultant=3.8+v1=6.8 vertical component of v2=5sin(40)=3.2 vertical component of v1=0 (angle=90) total vertical resultant=3.2 magnitude of velocity vector=sqrt(3.2^2+6.8^2) direction of velocity vector=tan inverse (3.2/6.8)
thank you so much!! :D
