OpenStudy (chmvijay):
can you write balanced reaction between Hcl and Mg
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Mg + 2HCl → MgCl2 + H2
That's what it gives me.
OpenStudy (chmvijay):
molecular weight of HCl??
OpenStudy (chmvijay):
molar mass of HCl =atomic mass of H + atomic mas of Cl
find and tell me
OpenStudy (anonymous):
36 i think.

atomic mass of Mg
OpenStudy (anonymous):
24.
OpenStudy (chmvijay):
good :)
OpenStudy (chmvijay):
from balanced equation u can write
for 24 gram of mg to react completely you need 2*36 gram of HCl
but for 5.2 gram of Mg to react completely you need =
can u calculate now
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Trying to figure this out..

I'm on here because i suck at chemistry lol.
OpenStudy (chmvijay):
no problem :)
you have to do cross multiplication :)
its like
for example
10 fruit price = 100 punds
then for 2 fruits =100*2 /10 = 20
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so i multiply 5 and 2 or 5 and 36?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
if i do all of that i get 360..
OpenStudy (chmvijay):
2*36*5.2 / 24

D.
15.60
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So?
OpenStudy (chmvijay):
2*36*5.2 / 24
clauulate this LOL:) do u suck in maths too or what i dont think soo
OpenStudy (anonymous):
15.6
