Write out the balanced equation for the reaction that occurs when Ca and NaCl react together. You do not need to make your subscripts smaller; just write them out at regular numbers. For example: H2O.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

If they react together one I going to displace the other (i.e. Ca for Na) so you need only to account for the charges to balance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's 3 Ca(OH)2 & 2 H3PO4 --> Ca3(PO4)2 & 6 H2O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm wrong one it will not react

OpenStudy (aaronq):

Assuming it will react, NaCl + Ca -> Na + CaCl2 (not balanced)
