Which of the following decomposition reactions is/are correct? A) 2NaOH 2Na + O2 + H2 B) 2NaOH 2Na + H2O + 1/2O2 C) 2NaOH Na2O + H2O D) 2NaOH 2Na + H2O2 Both reactions A & B are correct. Only reaction A is correct. Only reaction D is correct. Only reaction C is correct.
The generalized reaction for chemical decomposition is: AB → A + B
can i get a straight answer please

This is not the case in any of the answers so i think this is a thermal decomposition. I think when a hydroxide undergoes thermal decomposition, the hydroxide will split in the oxide and water. In this case that will be sodium oxide and water.
^ I agree thank you
thankyou very much :)!!!
