what is the actual angle between electron groups for PCl3?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Similar to ammonia in the sense that electrons create a dipole. Also same point group. But it's angles are different since its phosphorus, I'm sure you can f find angle values online, search phosphorus trichloride on BING

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It has a tetrahedral shape. with sp^3 orbitals. the angle should be 109.5.

but if you want the angle actually, it is 100 degrees. source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phosphorus_trichloride
