Determine the rate law, including the values of the orders and rate law constant, for the following reaction using the experimental data provided. Q + X yields products Trial [Q] [X] Rate 1 0.12 M 0.10 M 1.5 × 10-3 M/min 2 0.24 M 0.10 M 3.0 × 10-3 M/min 3 0.12 M 0.20 M 12.0 × 10-3 M/min

You wanna look at 2 trials when only 1 of the substance's concentration changed. so in trial 1 and 2 only [Q] changed.. notice that the rate increased by 2.. in trial 1 and 3 only [X] changed.. rate increased by by 8.. so find the exponents (a, b) on the rate law that describe this relationship. \[\frac{ d[products] }{ dt }=rate=k[Q]^{a}[X]^{b}\]
