I have another question similar to the previous one, find the parallel and perpendicular slope. 3x+y=3(x+2) @terenzreignz so far I got it down to y=6 and perpendicular and parallel slope=undefined

NO ! There is a different between : \[x=a~~~\text{and}~~ y=a\] When : \[x=a\] then the slope is undefined But, when : \[y=a\] then the slope is 0

The equation of the line is : \[y=6\] So, the slope is 0. So, the slope of a parallel line is 0 too, while the slope of perpendicular line is undefined.
