the range of sin is -1 to 1 -1 < sin(x) < 1 , multiply each part by 4 -4 < 4 sin(x) < 4 , so we have pulled the limits top to bottom, -4 and 4 the only thing left to deal with is the "2"

i mean ....would you agree that 2x is twice as fast is x :/ spose you have a turtle running at x mph; and a rabbit running at 2x mph .... for any given time x, isnt the rabbit twice as far along?
