Write out the balanced equation for the reaction that occurs when Fe(OH)3 and H2S react together.
i got this 2Fe(OH)3 + 3H2S -> Fe2S3 + 6H2O but i don't think that's right
My initial thought is this H2S + Fe(OH)3 = Fe2S3 + H2O
And so to balance.... 3 H2S + 2 Fe(OH)3 = Fe2S3 + 6 H2O
so i was right? hm. what a rare occurrence
Wonderful feeling is it not?
are you sure that's right? i just wanna make sure
I feel fairly confident. I believe the first set that I have is correct, and so I believe I balanced that correctly.
ok, thank you so much :]
No problemo! Been about a semester and a half since I've used my chem too :D
could you tell me if i got this other one right too?
I can do my best!
Write out the balanced equation for the reaction that occurs when Ca and Al(NO3)3 react together. and i put 3Ca + 2Al(NO3)3 -> 3Ca(NO3)2 + 2Al
Ca + Al(No3)3 = Ca(No3)3 + Al I got this.... Perhaps I did something wrong?
mm but it's gotta be balanced
hmmm
I believe that is balanced.
so i did all that stuff for nothing? lol
Perhaps, I'm not entirely sure. It has been a while since I have done this. You may take what I say as correct or not. Either way, no worries!
well i googled to make sure and they all say the same thing i said, so i'm just gonna go with that :] thank you for helping <3
No problem. I may still be a little rusty. I am avoiding chemistry like the plague as far as my major goes.
